Cyber Seniors

Over the past decade, technological innovation has swept the world by its feet and created a division between younger and older generations.

We believe that the reason for this divide is due to the lack of assistance and support provided for seniors to learn and embrace modern technology. As a result, the elderly may experience social marginalization within our community causing loneliness, isolation and alienation.

At CACTES Association, we want to abridge social differences not only in poverty-prone areas, but within our local communities as well.

Cyber Seniors is a bi-monthly program with the goal of helping seniors gain practical skills and experience first hand with electronic devices such as smartphones, computers and laptops. Guided under the care and instruction of our youth members at CACTES Association, seniors at local care residences receive one-on-one lessons so that participants can gain the skills and knowledge they desire.
